Brenda Oldham, President , Michigan Chapter
Owner, RAM Insurance & Financial Services
Brenda Oldham is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she majored in Accounting. She received her Masters of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. She also earned the LUTCF designation which entails 5 years of insurance courses. In 1987, she began her career in the Financial Services industry by becoming an agent and then subsequently a Sales Agency Manager for Allstate Insurance Company. In 2000, she formed her own agency, RAM Insurance & Financial Services, with the goal of providing unbiased insurance and financial advice.
 
Brenda has earned earn MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) 21 times out of 30 years in the industry. In October 2010, Brenda was awarded a Special Tribute by Senator Nancy Cassis and State Representative Eileen Kowall for her ownership of RAM Insurance & Financial Services and dedication to educating her community on Financial Services. In March of 2012, Brenda Oldham was awarded the Leadership Award for her leadership in business and entrepreneurship presented on World Leadership Day by Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs.
 
Brenda has been providing a valuable service in the Financial Industry for over 30 years. Brenda seeks to provide the "best client experience in the world" and believes private firms with a longer-term vision best deliver this objective. 
Jennifer Vaal, President Elect,, WIFS Michigan Chapter

Jennifer Vaal is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. She began her career in recruiting in 1999 and has progressively expanded her knowledge base and skill set.

Investment Advisor Representative, Thrivent Financial​
Carmen Haag is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree, with a Major in Materials and Logistic Management with dual emphasis in Purchasing and Transportation.  She hold a series 7 and 66 with professional designations as FIC and CLTC.

With twenty-eight years of business experience in a variety of positions including management, individual contributor, and sales.  Carmen has worked in corporate models that include multi-national; privately held small business; and mutual style not-for-profit.
She began her career in finance with Thrivent in 2006 as a Financial Representative and transitioned to her present position as Field Operations Manager Great Lakes Region in February, 2015.  She is a member of the Thrivent Member Network Board since inception and serves as Treasurer.

Shannon Lipp, Treasurer, WIFS Michigan Chapter
President, Sandler Training
Shannon Lipp is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she majored in Psychology. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Finance from Walsh College. With over 10 years of progressive sales and sales training experience, she began her career in the Financial Services industry by becoming a financial consultant in 2002. In 2015, she became President and Owner of Sadler Training.
 
Shannon is skilled in helping organizations and individuals break through barriers to achieve growth and greater sales revenue goals. She is knowledgeable in creating long last performance improvement through proven sales processes and effective methodologies. In addition, she has expertise in developing customized reinforcement training program for CEOs, entrepreneurs, sales people and sales managers of small, medium and large corporate entities.ves private firms with a longer-term vision best deliver this objective.
